First: Kylie thanks so much for your idea! I am actually getting started right away!
Second, it's SATURDAY. Thank goodness :)
Sometimes, I feel too much like a mom. I mean, I seriously think I watch Lily and Ty way more than my mom does and I know them all too well. And my mom is having a new baby, which is supposed to be born in I think in late January/early February of 2013. And then I will have another baby on "my" hands. But anyway, I cook, I clean, and I put them to bed. I help them with EVERYTHING. So it kind of makes me feel like a little housewife.
I'm 17, and I will be 18 in July. I'm going to be going off to college, actually, more specific, TCU, which is the Horned Frogs. That is only about two hours away from where we live, so I will be coming home a lot to be you know, helping with these evil devils. I'm just joking.
School is out in 10 days. I have two more weeks with my senior project, where I am actually helping my dad with his pediatrician stuff. But most of the time, I'm visiting my school, hanging out, you know.
Graduation will be fun. My best friend, Will, and I are having a combined party at a paintball arena.
It will be TOTAL fun! And as much as I love Ty and Lily they will not be there, so I can actually have some guy time with all my buds. Well, it's not guy time because we are all having our girlfriends and such. But, it SHOULD be a blast.
But today is Saturday, and today is a day for some relaxing time. So I need to quit my blabbering and get the hell out of this bed and do something productive. I will try now.

Oh face it. I ain't gettin out of bed any time soon. I'm too lazy and it's Saturday. Today is a day for relaxing. Lily and Ty are watching TV, and mom and dad are home to watch them. I'm gonna take this time to watch them. So, now, I will go to sleep. Have a good Saturday :)

Mother's Day 2012

Our family has this tradition of doing Mother's Day/Father's Day a week later than it actually is. The reason is because all the restaurants that we like are booked by February, and we're a family that doesn't really plan ahead. There a few awesome sides to having mother's day later. The best one is that I have one more week to get my present. And, being the lazy guy I am, I guess I'm EXTRA lazy and I haven't gotten my mother's day present yet. Any idea? My mom is athletic, and smart, and amazing. Any ideas I would be glad to listen to...Just don't tell her I haven't gotten her a present yet.

News, BIG news

I drove home from school today, and I was planning on taking my little siblings for some ICE CREAM (Which they LOVE) and you should always bring napkins, because these are little KIDS we are talking about. Hehe. But anyway, my mom was standing in the doorway, looking excited, is that the word? AND TIRED. I thought she was going to be at a meeting.
Me: What are you doing, mom?
Mom: I'm standing here to tell you the news. Lily and Tyson are dying for me to tell them and I told them I wasn't going to tell them until you came.
Me: What?
Mom: I'M PREGNANT!
Me: What?!!!!!? I mean, that's...great!
(MORE KIDS? TO TAKE CARE OF? YAY!?)
Me: Congratulations, mom, I'm proud of you.
In case you don't know my mom was only 18 when she gave birth to me, so she's only 35.
More kids...more kids.
I couldn't be happier, really.
Congratulations mom. I love you.

Lily's adventures

This was told all from Lily's teacher, Mrs. Lewan, who is the best teacher ever. She's so kind, and sweet, and Lily has a hard time learning some things, and Mrs. Lewan is the PERFECT match.
So anyway, during nap time, she "hid" her mat in the corner, and Mrs. Lewan came looking for her. Lily didn't respond, and was actually asleep on her mat. Lily came up, and she went to the bathroom during nap time, and you don't need to ask so she just went. So, Mrs. Lewan, while she was in the bathroom, looked around the corner to get some paper for after nap time. She saw Lily's empty mat and panicked. She looked ALL around for Lily and then called us. We freaked out.
Mrs. Lewan didn't realize the bathroom door was locked until there were cries of, "HELP!" Apparently, Lily had dropped her stuffed animal in the toilet (she sleeps with this stuffed dog every night) and couldn't get it out. She had also locked the door, and couldn't unlock it. So Mrs. Lewan had to run around the building, take her keys, climb in through a window to a closet, unlock the closet and get to the bathroom. Lily was sitting on the toilet, her pants pulled up!
It was just so funny. When we came to get her early, she said,
"I didn't know what to do. So I just cried and cried!"
It was so sad. Lily, this day we will tease you about forever!

haven't posted in a like a super long time.

Okay. Let's face it. I suck at blogging. But how else can I say it?
I'm busy with cousins, school, everything.
But anyway, this post isn't really about the kids (wow I really do seem like a mom, don't I...grrr)
There's this girl named Steph. Her blog is Get a little high on life, and she's EXTREMELY nice. There was this girl named Onceuponatime, and needed to "talk", and Steph was COMPLETELY willing to talk. She is super funny, and super nice. Check out her blog.
The kids...(small paragraph)
Um, Lily, she has been causing trouble in preschool. The other day, instead of going to the potty alone, she pulled the potty out during the story time and just went. That just cracked me up, but seriously, we need to have a talk...
Ty, he is so obsessed with trucks, it's kind of scary. Every time we're in the car is something new.
I will be able to be posting more often because I get out of school in 14 days(without weekends)...YAY!
But until then...we'll see what I can do.
Also, as for Lily and Ty, I would love to post pictures, but my parents just don't think it's safe. I agree, somewhat. They are adorable, let's just say that. But, I know this one kid who had a picture on a website and this stalker guy tracked him down. He came to his neighborhood and watched all the kids and found this kid by looking at the picture, and raped him, and then killed him. Kind of scary stuff, huh? This was a long time ago, btw.
If I had killed Ty and/or Lily cause of stupid pictures, I would never live again.

Time is valuable

I'm so foolish and I apologize.
In a previous post about two weeks ago, I said that I was going to start posting regularly again. I try, but I'm sorry. I find myself barely having time to myself to sleep, much less time to blog :) I will try, but I can't make any promises. Anyway, thanks for bearing with me.

Well Hello 2012

I understand I have not posted in a really long time.
Between the holiday season and everything, it's been a really busy season.
Anyway, Ty and Lily had a pretty good holiday season, with ups and downs.
Ty actually broke his arm by falling off of the swing, and tomorrow he's going for check ups.
Anyways, the kids got lots of cool presents for Christmas. Ty and Lily each got cars that you plug in and drive around. Lily got a barbie one and Ty got some boyish kind. I also got a golf cart that they love riding in and always want me to drive them places with. Ty and Lily also got pillow pets...they're in love with them. Every night, if I'm tucking the kids (more specifically Lily), she goes: "Bring me my pillow pet!" She adores the thing. She's also told me,
"Now, Sanders, just because you got me the pillow pet, and I love it, doesn't mean I love you more than I originally did."
Thanks, Lily. I know she was just being silly, though.
Again, I'm sorry for not posting much, but I will start again.
I just don't know if it will be everyday, we're so busy!
